MILITARY SPECIFICATION
POWER SUPPLIES, GUIDED MISSILE LAUNCHERS, SINGLE
TYPES PP-2401B/A, PP-2401C/A, PP-2401D/A, PP-4285/A,
PP-4286/A, AND COMPOSITE TYPE PP-4506/A AND PS-10373C
This specification is approved for use by the AFLC Cataloging &
Standardization Office, Department of the Air Force and is available
for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Departmant of Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 General. This specification covens power supplies for the AIM-9
missle launcher. The power supply provides the missile with standby
power, fixing power, motor drive power and amplification of audio signal.
1.2 Classification. The power supply contains low voltage and high
voltage regulated supplies. For normal loads the low voltage supply is
rated 25.2 VDC 1.5 amperes and the high voltage supply is rated 175 VDC 200
milliamperes.
NOTE: PP-4506 with PS-1037-3C forms one (two-section) power supply.
