Shock, Installed Condition - The lockout cylin-

ders, unpressurized shall withstand the shock test in
accordance with Type A, Specification MIL-S-901, for Grade 1
equipment. With the piston-rod eye pinned to a stationary
clevis external to the shock-test machine, shock loading
shall be applied at the lockout-cylinder-body eye. The test The test
fixture shall be so designed that the piston-rod travel shall
not exceed the excursion limits specified in 3.3.4. After
testing, the lockout cylinders shall show no damage and shall
meet all performance requirements and product characteristics
of this specification
