MIL-P-83927B (USAF)
Nonstandard parks of an electrical or electronic nature as defined
in MIL-E-5400 shall be approved by the AIM-9 engineering activity before the
power supplies are submitted for preproduction testing. This request for
approval must be submitted before the park is purchase or fabricated for
these power supplies.
d. Parts and materials shall be used that conform to the environmental
and electrical best requirements of MIL-STD-202.
e. Materials. F&cycled and reoovered raw materials should be used to the
maximum extent possible in lieu of virgin raw materials as long as these mate-
rials do not jeopardize the intended use and fully comply with all contract
requimments. Materials used shall be free from defects which would affect the
Pergcxmanoe or maintianability of individual components of the overall assembly.
3.2.1 Transistors and Diodes. The choice and application of
transistors and diodes used in the equipment shall be in accordance with
MIL-E-4682, MIL-STD-701, MIL-STD-750 and MIL-S-19500. No vaccuum tubes nor
plastic-encapsulated semiconductors shall be used.
3.2.2 Relays. Power supply relays shall conform to MIL-R-5757.
3.2.2.1 Relays K1, K2, K3 and K4. These relays shall have the
following characteristics:
