Rejection - Failure of the diaphragm assembly
to meet any of the requirements and tests of this specifi-
cation shall be considered cause for rejection.
PREPARATION
FOR
DELIVERY

5.1
Preservation and Packaging - Preservation and
packaging of the diaphragm assembly shall be Level A or
Level C.
5.1.1
level A - Level A shall be as specified by the
procuring activity.
5.1.2
Level C - Cleaning, drying, preservation, and
unit packaging shall be in accordance with the manufac-
ture's commercial practice, Each diaphragm assembly
shall be packed singly-in a package.
5.1.3
Packing - Packing of the diaphragm assembly
shall be Level A or Level C.
5.1.3.1
Level A - Level A-shall be as specified by the
procuring
activity.
5.1.3.2
Level C - The diaphragm assembly, packaged as
specified in 5.1.1, shall be packed to afford protection
against damage during shipment from the supply source to
the first receiving activity for immediate use. Containers
shall comply with Uniform Freight Classification Rules or
other common-carrier regulations applicable to the mode of
transportation.
5.1.4
Marking - Unit packages and shipping containers
shall be marked in accordance with the requirements of
Standard MIL-STD-129 and the Code of Regulation.49 CFR 71-78.

NOTES
6.1
Ordering-Data - Procurement documents shall
specify the title, number, packaging and packing levels,
and date of this specification and any exceptions to the
specification, applicable, drawings, or other documents
referenced herein.
Intended Use" - The diaphragm assembly is

intended for use in the Missile Launching System, Mark l7
Mods O, 1, 2, and 3. "
